Hams in the Eastern Nevada rural counties of Lincoln and White Pine continue to grow their organizations and infra-structure. On October 14th around sixty Airstream travel trailers, many from the Northern California Unit of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International (WBCCI) rolled into the Lakeside Casino RV Park in Pahrump. Nevada and they were intent on making amateur radio a big part of their activities.

During Tuesday's meeting of the Washoe County Board of Commissioners, ARRL Local Government Liaison J. Edward Parker-N7TOC presented Washoe County with an ARRL Certificate of Merit for the counties support of Amateur Radio. Read about it here.
