July 12, 2013:  Ken, K4ZW, will once again be back in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, between 12-19th July, 2013. He plans to operate from ET3AA, the Ethiopian Amateur Radio Society (EARS) club station. QRV most of his time on CW, but is going to try and be active on RTTY as well. Look for ET3AA HQ station during the IARU HF World Championship (13-14 July). QSLs go to N2OO. [OPDX Bulletin]

David, K0DCH, plans to activate Mitkof island (NA-041, USi AK155S, WLOTA 2115) as 0DCH/KL7 from 12-16 July, 2013. QRV on or near the usual island and IOTA frequencies. QSL via home call, direct only. 

Sam, K0YAK, is located in Monshiya, Khartoum, Sudan, and will work  as ST2SF until at least 31st August, 2013,  using 45W mainly CW and digital modes. During power disruptions he will work QRP. QSL via home call and LoTW.
 
Klaus, VE7KDU, and Frank, VE7DP, will make another attempt at operating from the Estevan  Islands (NA-181) some time between 11th and 15th
July, 2013. The operation  will take place from Barnard Island (NA-181, CIsA BC-175), which is located  about 130 Km west/south-west of the nearest accessible town. "Reaching our destination will depend on local weather and sea conditions", Frank says.  The plan is for a minimum 48-hour operation, with activity on 30-15 meters  CW and SSB. QSL via home calls, direct or bureau. A brief activity (less
than 24 hours) from one of the qualifying islands in the NA-061 group,
immediately before or after NA-181 is also a possibility.

July 13, 2013:  Bjoern, HB9DTV, plans holiday style activity as  9A/HB9DTV from Pag Island (EU-170, ACIA IC-188, CIA-32, IOCA CI-082, MIA MC-282, WLOTA 1796) between 13-20 July 2013. Bjoern will be QRV in his spare time on the HF bands, SSB only. QSL via home call, bureau or direct. 
 
Look for Maarten, PA3GZU, to be QRV as DU9/PA3GZU once again from the island of Mindanao (OC-130, WLOTA 2803), Philippines, between 13th July and 9th August, 2013. Plans are to be active holiday style on 40, 20, 15 and 10 metre SSB and PSK31. QSL via PA3GZU  bureau preferred. 

Members of the Calabria DX Team of the ARI section Villa S.Giovanni will activate the lighthouse Punta Pezzo (WAIL CL-007, ARLHS ITA-139, Admiralty E 1770, WAIS FS54) as II8LH on the 13th of July, 2013. QRV on all HF bands, CW and SSB, propagation allowing. QSL via the bureau to HB9FHZ, or direct to IK8YFU
LoTW and eQSL. 

Harry, AA2WN will be active holiday style as ZF2WN from Grand Cayman Island (NA-016, WLOTA 1042) on 13-20 July,  2013. He will operate mostly on 17 and 20 metre CW, SSB and possibly some digital modes. QSL via AA2WN and LoTW.

July 14, 2013: 
Francois, ON4LO, plans to activate the island of Fehmarn (EU-128, DID O-01,
WLOTA 0637) as DL/ON4LO/p from 14-25th July, 2013. QRV on the HF bands, holiday style. QSL via home call, direct or bureau.
 
Thomas, HB9DRM/p, will activate Regional Naturpark Diemtigtal
(WWFF HBFF-014 - NEW ONE!) on 14th July 2013 from 0830 UTC to about 1130 UTC. Locator: JN36SO or JN36RN or JN36RO (exact location yet tbd). Thomas  will be QRV on 40 and 20 meter SSB. QSL info on QRZ.com under HB9DRM. 
 
July 15, 2013:  Kjell, SM4DDS will be active as 7S5A from Boko  Island (EU-177), Kalmar county, on 15-21 July. He will be QRV on 80-10 metres CW and SSB. He may also operate as 7S5A/p for the Swedish Flora Fauna  Award (Boko Nature Reserve, SMFF-316) while on the island. QSL via home call, direct or bureau, and LoTW.
 
Helmut, DL5BUT, plans a visit to the Camp Nipmerow, located on Ruegen Island  (EU-057, DID O-007, WLOTA 1712) and will be active on the HF bands as DL5BUT/p from 15-18th July, 2013. He will also activate the National Park 
Jasmund (WWFF DLFF-007) while he is there. QSL via home call, direct or
bureau.
 
Andy, E51AND and Kathy, E51KC will visit  the island of Mangaia (OC-159), South Cook Islands, from 15-19 July, 2013. Note: this is not a DXpedition -- Andy is visiting the island with his wife who will be working in the schools during the day. Andy will operate when he  can but they will share the same motel room so all nighters are not likely. Equipment: Yaesu FT 857D, LDG tuner, Zero-Five 43 foot vertical with about 40 ground radials. Andy will operate both SSB and QRS CW -- looking especially for SKCC members around SKCC calling frequencies. QSL direct to E51AND, P.O. Box 518, Avarua, Rarotonga, Cook Islands. 
 

July 16, 2013:  Flavio, IW2NEF, will be active holiday style as 5R8NE from Andilana Beach, Nosy Be Island (AF-057, WLOTA 3042), from 16-30th July, 2013. His plans are to be QRV on 40-10 metre phone only. He will also be active in the RSGB IOTA Contest (27-28 July). Equipment: Yaesu  FT857, 100W, with 10m fishing rod antenna. QSL via his manager IK2DUW. 
 
Pista, HA8UT and his family will once again be active from Neoi Poroi (QRA KM19HX), Pieria region, Greece, this time as SW2UT between 16-26th
July, 2013. He will operate mainly CW, with some SSB and RTTY, on the HF bands (on 80 to 10 metres) and on 6 metres. His rig is  an IC-706KMIIG and will be using vertical antennas. July 19, 2013:  Gert, ZS6AYU, plans to be active holiday style as C91GR from

July 24, 2013:  Gordon, MM0GPZ, will be active holiday style (family holiday)

July 25, 2013:  Weather permitting, a team  consisting Teemu SM0W/OJ0R, Rick SM6U and Thomas SM0CXU/PY2ZXU will be active from Market Reef (EU-053, ARLHS MAR-001, TWLHD WLH OJ0-001, WLOTA 0542, WWFF OHFF-038) as OJ0R between 25-29th July, 2013. July 26, 2013:  Matus, HA9MDN, plans to be active as 9A/HA9MDN from
the island of Vir (EU-170, ACIA IC-200, CIA-55, IOCA CI-141, MIA MC-451,
WLOTA 4050) between 26th July and 2nd August, 2013. QRV on all HF bands.
Modes will be SSB, RTTY and SSTV. He also plans to participate in the RSGB

Special event station 8N1FUJI will be QRV on all bands and modes between
28th July 2013 and 31st March 2014 to commemorate the designation of Mount
Fuji (Fujisan) as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Mt. Fuji became a World Heritage Site on 22nd June, 2013. QSL via the bureau.

13/07/2013:  The RSGB HQ team will participate in the IARU HF World  Championship (13-14 July) as GR2HQ from different DXCC Entities within the UK. All GR2HQ QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW a few weeks after the contest, with the correct DXCC entity shown. These DXCC entities (G, GJ, GM or GW) will also be clearly shown on the paper QSL card you receive, along with the IOTA reference (if different from EU-005). QSL  via M0OXO (OQRS at www.m0oxo.com). 15/07/2013:  ISWL Member, Fred Weidema, PA0FAW, will be running special event
station PA1813A, from the 15th July until 13th August 2013. It is well known that Arnhem was liberated in 1945, (the movie "A Bridge too far"), but Arnhem was liberated before in 1813 from the French. Operation will be for a greater part in CW, some SSB and digital modes depending on the available time and possibilities.
