Event operation period: 11 a.m. June 22 until 11am June
23.
1. 1pm Friday - Antenna party to put up and test antennas for
field day.
2. 8am Saturday - Finalize antennas and stations setup.
3. 9am Saturday - Rob will give a brief educational training (extra points)
on networking the FD computers followed by Field Day Software training and
familiarization for all.
4. 11am Saturday - begin Field Day operation
until 11am Sunday.
5. 11am Sunday - break down, clean up, pack up all
antennas, etc for
departure home. Should be out of there and heading home
around 1pm Sunday.
Come join us for all the fun! Bring drinks, snacks,
and those staying
overnight Saturday be sure to bring warm clothing and
sleeping bags, blankets, etc since it will be a long cool night according
to forecasts. We will be operating 3AB again this year at 5w output and
using 2 cw (FT-817 and IC-703) and 1 ssb station (Elecraft KX-3).
Additionally we will attempt a satellite qso for the extra points during
field day.
