Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club settles into their new home

The clanking of silverware and china was noticeably absent at last nights meeting of the Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club. Club members had become accustomed to those sounds during their monthly meetings the past couple of years when the group held it's meetings at a local Denny's restaurant.
Thru the generosity of the Red Rock Search and Rescue organization, LVRAC once more has a meeting place which lends itself more to the needs of the group. Red Rock has donated the use of it's training building to LVRAC.
Annual elections, plus an interesting presentation on amateur radio antennas were the main topics of the evening.
The incumbent officers of the club were re-elected by acclamation of the membership. Ken McCracken stepped forward and volunteered to fill a vacant position on the Board of Directors.
Sal Giandinota presented an informative talk on "Everything You Wanted To Know About Amateur Antennas."
