Pahrump Amateur Radio Repeater Association Field Day

We're a bunch of old guys, so we will be operating on Saturday only as it now stands.

We'll be setting up starting at 6:00 AM Saturday morning at what is known as the "Calvada 'I' "    The area is administered by Nye County and they have offices adjacent to the trees and pond area where we will be setting up.

The Location is on the ARRL FD map site this week.

After you go through the first Pahrump stop light heading north on Hwy 160, drive about another half mile and make a left turn onto Calvada Boulevard and drive straight down to the office complex which is on the left where the road splits.  There is a nice parking area adjacent to the big cottonwood trees and we will be set up under them with two or three canopies.

It's going to be hot, so we will have lots of water and snacks available for visitors.  We don't consider it a contest and encourage neophyte operators to participate.  We will be running two stations on 40M through 6M and a talk-in on 146.52 MHz.will be monitored as well.
