Don Seibert N2MOO, SNARS Vice-President Critically Injured in New Years Day Auto Accident

SNARS Vice-President Don Seibert N2MOO remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit of Renown Hospital in Reno following an early morning crash News Years day.

Seibert, who underwent lengthy surgery on Friday, is reported to still be paralyzed from the neck down at this time.  Information from friends and family indicate that it would be a minimum of 72 hours after surgery before Don's doctors can predict if the paralysis will diminish.

Seibert's injuries resulted when a woman who failed to obey a traffic signal turned into the path of his vehicle. 

Don Seibert has served several years as a Director of SNARS and began his third consecutive term as club Vice-President on the day of the accident.  Seibert in known throughout Nevada as a principal architect in the establishment and implementation of the SNARS DMR system.

Don Seibert's career as a professional truck driver ended pre-maturely when he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  A GoFundMe account has been set up to help with the massive medical expenses which Don and his wife are incurring.
