Urgent Call: Operators Needed for MS 150

With only two weeks to go, Bike MS urgently needs 24 ham operators for the MS 150 bike event on Saturday and Sunday, November 9-10.  The event starts each morning  at 7:30am from downtown and there are blocks of time that each position must be manned as the bikers proceed down three different courses, the longest one being 150 miles. The route is around the valley and as far out as Red Rock and Lake  Mead.  All activity should stop at 5:00pm on Saturday and 3:00pm on Sunday.

Operators needed for  Nurses Half marathon

The National Nurses Half Marathon and 5K run will be held October 19 at Red Rock Canyon outside of Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas area amateur radio community has been asked supply amateur radio communications for this event. 

At this time, the Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club has committed to provide support for this activity.  However, they are in need of assistance.
