Showcasing 100 years of YL Ham Radio
The ladies from the Sisterhood Of Amateur Radio (SOAR) will be giving ham radio a bit of publicity when they showcase amateur radio at the Santa's Electric Night Parade, December 7th in Boulder City, Nevada
The amateur radio themed entry is: "Lady Amateur Radio Operators-100 Years of Volunteer Service"

They plan to have images depicting YL operators from vintage years to modern times on their float.
Live float riders will be dressed and have equipment from both bygone years as well as modern apparel and rigs. YL's will march along with photographs of YL operators past and present. Any and all YL's are welcome to join the SOAR members in the parade.
They will be decorating their float on the Radio World parking lot in Boulder City beginning at noon on Dec. 7th.
